Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Twelve Women of the Bible: Life-Changing Stories for Women Today
by Lysa TerKeurst
What defines a great leader? What strategies help women become stronger leaders, role models and mentors at home and in the workplace? Please join us in a 12 session study as we explore the spiritual lessons learned from twelve biblical women and what they mean for your life today. You’ll discover lessons from each of these women that will help you persevere through the circumstances you are facing in everyday situations.
Led by Laura Boone.
This study begins weekly Monday, January 25th at 6:30 pm in The Gathering Area at Berea Baptist Church or via Zoom.
Tuesday Nights
Girls with Swords: How to Carry your Cross like a Hero
by Lisa Bevere
A passionate call for Christian women to effectively “wield the sword” of their God-given feminine strength against any evil that threatens them and those they love.
What if you discovered you have been entrusted with an invisible, invincible, and incorruptible weapon? Would you use it? Lisa Bevere points to a biblical foundation to present a model of feminine strength that will empower women to live confidently. Drawing on the many references to swords throughout Scripture, the author constructs a revealing and compelling female paradigm that will impact every area of a woman’s self identity, spiritual awareness, relationships, and life vision and mission. Long known for her passionate and articulate expression of biblical womanhood, Bevere presents fresh imagery–as enticing and strong as polished steel–to prepare women boldly for the challenges they face in today’s world.

Led by Nikki Bagley

Thursday Nights
Made to Crave: Satisfying your deepest desire with God, not Food
by Lysa TerKeurst
Do you ever feel overwhelmed and frustrated by your food choices? Maybe your grocery cart is full of what is deemed unhealthy. Do you worry over the way you look, never feeling like you measure up to what society says is beautiful? Do you crave food or the perfect body over God?
Join me for 12 weeks as we take a deep look at what God says, and we learn to Crave Him More. We will use the study book and DVD Made To Crave by Lysa Terkeurst. I will also be using additional material based on my professional experience as a Registered Dietitian. Along with sharing my personal journey of learning to truly Crave God more after years of struggling with eating issues.
I look forward to sharing in this time together, I believe God has called us to do so much more than worry over food and be held back from being all He wants us to be by feelings of incompetence’s over how we look and feel. Let’s clear our mind and become healthy for God!

Led by Marianne Henley, Registered Dietitian.
This study begins weekly Thursday, January 21st at 6:30 pm in The Gathering Area at Berea Baptist Church or via Zoom.
Please email the Leaders directly if you plan on attending just so we know how many books to order! There is no cost to participate, however you are welcome to make a donation to the church.
We look forward to exploring God’s word with one another!
